How to prepare for the Canadian citizenship test

Build a study routine around reading, recall and practice.

Make a small daily plan

Choose a study time you can keep. Ten focused minutes regularly can be easier to maintain than a long session you keep putting off. Use your test date to organise revision without treating an app estimate as a promise.

Read, recall, check

Read a short section of Discover Canada. Try to explain it without looking, then answer a few questions. Read explanations even when you guessed correctly.

Mix the topics

Return to older topics while learning new ones. Keep a short list of confusing dates, rights, symbols and government roles. Review that list before the next timed mock.

Go straight to the source

Keep these official sources handy as you revise.

A little wiser. Ready for a question?

Turn what you have read into something you remember.
